Comparison

Zeitplan.io vs Resource Guru

Resource Guru is a mature booking tool for people and things, with a strong focus on avoiding double bookings. Zeitplan.io is narrower and lighter: people on projects, by the day, inside the app your team already has open.

Resource Guru schedules people, meeting rooms and equipment in a shared calendar, with availability and clash management, a waiting list for overbooked resources, leave management and utilization reports. It is a standalone web app with its own accounts and integrates with calendars and other tools.

FAQ

Can Zeitplan.io book rooms or equipment?

No. Zeitplan.io schedules team members only. People who aren’t in your Microsoft 365 directory, such as freelancers, can be added manually.

How does Zeitplan.io prevent double bookings?

Overlapping assignments are visible in the person’s row and count separately in the statistics. Preliminary bookings can be marked as blockers so everyone sees they aren’t confirmed yet.
